PPE stands for Personal Protective Equipment. PPE is therefore all protective accessories for when you are at work. Clothing and shoes are not officially classified as PPE. These accessories were created because employers must ensure good working conditions.
In our webshop you will find excellent PPE for a good price. We believe that the safety of you or your employees should never cost too much.
Good working conditions are created by avoiding dangerous situations as much as possible and by taking technical and organizational measures. If this is not sufficient, the employer may provide PPE to the employees. PPE includes different types of accessories. We have listed them.
Respiratory protection
For respiratory protection, consider face masks but also gas masks with filters. There are many different types of face masks – your choice depends on the substance or substances you come into contact with during your work. If you have interchangeable filters, you can also replace the filter separately and adjust it to the dust or gas requirements.
Hearing protection
Hearing protection includes accessories such as ear muffs and earplugs. Depending on the noise you come into contact with, you will need these ear muffs. One ear muff blocks more sound than the other.
Face protection
Face protection is about protecting the face. You do this for hazardous substances that can splash up. Consider abrasives when welding or grinding, but also splashing liquids that are dangerous. With facial protection, the entire protection is covered and not individual parts - in short, optimal facial protection while working.
Hand protection
Hand protection is important in many different work situations. This may be because you need to keep your hands clean or protect them against electricity and fire hazards. Depending on your work situation, get good advice about which one work gloves you can best purchase.
Head protection
Head protection is (obviously) there to protect the head. But, contrary to popular belief, it is not just to protect heavy things that can fall. Head protection is also against the cold and the sun. So we are talking about helmets, but also about hats, caps and monkshoods.
Eye protection
Eye protection is not limited to safety glasses. Safety glasses prevent a large part of the damage, but there are many other accessories that contribute to a safer working environment. Consider eye wash and cleaning wipes for optimal vision through the glasses. When purchasing eye protection, also consider these accessories, because if the eyes are damaged, it is wise to have an eyewash bottle.
Fall protection
And finally: fall protection. When you work at great heights, it is important that you have the correct fall protection. Fall protection products include safety harnesses, lines, loops and fasteners that ensure that you get up and down safely.
