Differences in headlamps
In our webshop you can buy, among others, the Petzl Pixa 1 and the Petzl Pixa 2. Both head lamps are very suitable for doing your work at night outdoors or in an unlit indoor space. The main difference is that the Pixa 1 only has one mode, while the Pixa 2 has two: one for close-range work and one for work that requires movement. In terms of functionalities, these head lamps can be compared with each other. They have an easily adjustable headband, which makes the lamps comfortable to wear, a rotating switch to turn the light on and off and a housing that can be adjusted up to 45 degrees. The battery can last at least six hours and both models have a backup light, so the head lamp can provide light for about 10 hours after the battery is empty.
In addition, both Pixa headlamps are waterproof to a limited extent. They cannot be used to illuminate long-term underwater work, but they can easily handle 30 minutes at a depth of one meter. If the lamp is submerged under water for half an hour or less, no maintenance is required on the lamp when you emerge. The resistance to shocks is also excellent with Petzl head lamps. They will survive a fall of two meters without any damage. Due to this strong character and the rotatability of the lamp housing, the lamp can also be placed on the ground. Sometimes a head lamp does not shine at the right angle on a material on the ground. In that case, the Petzl Pixa is more helpful than some other head lamps.

All these items of work clothing are designed with the idea that someone who works in the dark should be able to be seen clearly, for example by nearby traffic. When light shines on this clothing, you will immediately be seen by the reflective stripes on the clothing. This work clothing also stands out during the day or in a lit work environment. That is why they have been given their striking yellow or orange color: there is no circumstance in which these colors stand out against the background.
