Printing: the most frequently asked questions

How to have an article printed?

Printing an item is very simple. Select the desired item, click on the print button on the right, choose the desired positions and printing in the editor and finally add the item to the shopping cart. You must therefore always add one or more positions to be printed + 1 printing card per logo (one-off)

Can I see a sample before production?

Of course! We always send a proof for approval when printing for the first time. This way the result is 100% the desired result

You can use the image at the bottom of this page for the standard positions for clothing and vests

What are the standard positions?

  • Left chest 10 cm wide, positioned on "middle sleeve", in case of a chest pocket we print on the chest pocket. See image (1) .
  • Back 25 cm wide, centered and 12 cm from the seam of the collar, in case of a hood we ensure that the logo falls under the hood. See image (2) .
  • Right sleeve 8 cm wide, for short sleeves, just above the sleeve seam, for long sleeves centered and 10 cm below the shoulder seam. See image (3) .

Once the ordered clothing has arrived, the order will be printed.

Standard for vests

  • Left chest 10 cm wide, positioned as in the images below. If there is a breast pocket on the left chest, we print on the breast pocket if possible, otherwise we print above it. In the case of a transparent insert pocket, we print above it as standard (if possible)
  • Spine (up to) 25 cm wide, centered and according to the images. If possible, we print above the reflective stripes as standard. If this is not possible with your logo, we print underneath.

When the vest(s) are in stock or in stock, the order will be printed.

When do I choose embroidery and when do I choose printing?

Embroidery is a great solution to add your company logo or text to work clothing in a stylish and durable way. For some garments such as fleece and many softshell items, printing is not possible and embroidery is the best option.

What is the delivery time for printed items?

When you can expect your order depends on the product. Once you choose an item and select the size and color, you will see the normal delivery time of an item. Add approximately 4-7 working days for printing. Urgent order? Please contact us.

As soon as something is shipped, you will receive your Track & Trace email from us to track your order

Can anyone think with me about printing?

We are happy to help you think about the image of the corporate identity. Together we will find a perfect solution for which item, print or embroidery, etc. Contact us quickly about your situation and issue

How does supplying a logo work?

To embroider your logo, we need a logo file with one of the following file extensions: .EPS, .AI, .SVG, PDF or a high-quality PNG or JPG. This way we can ensure optimal results. We do not need a file to embroider texts or numbers. By using our editor you already supply your text or logo. If there are any additional files or information, you can reply to your order confirmation with text, logo or additional information. After this we have enough information to send a proof soon.

What are the dimensions of an embroidery?

We maintain a fixed width if this is the most aesthetic solution. This depends on the material supplied (logo or text).

Standard dimensions

Chest/sleeve/neck print: 10 cm wide

Back print: 25 cm wide

Printing on bags: 20 cm wide

Height depends on the ratio of the width

A different size or printing in a different position is often also possible. Please contact us to discuss your wishes. This can be done with the contact form

What can't I print?

Most clothing can be printed easily, but there are exceptions to this:

  • Softshell jackets, many of which require a special softshell blocker
  • Fleece clothing, because a logo is applied with pressure and heat, the fleece melts, which can have undesirable results
  • Underwear & lightweight hats, the fabric is too elastic and does not print well
  • Extremely elastic clothing, the fabric is too elastic and cannot be printed well

It may also be possible that some locations cannot be printed on certain clothing or are strongly discouraged.

Can I also print a softshell?

We recommend embroidery with softshell material, because with most softshells the paint in the softshell mixes with the paint in the logos, which allows it to 'bleed through', slowly causing different speckles to appear in the logo.

There are some exceptions, such as softshells specially made for printing or logos with softshell blocker.

  • Printable softshells (from Helly Hansen, for example)
  • You can request logos with softshell blockers via a quote request

I order more often and I receive the set-up costs for a print again, why is this?

If you have ordered once before and created an account, your account may not be properly linked. This means that you will still see the price for the printed card. If you think this is incorrect please contact us

We will then make an adjustment to your account so that you do not have to pay it again. You can then easily place the order including printing via our editor without the costs of the printing card.

We advise you to mention a repeat order in the order comment or reference, if possible with the previous order number . This makes it easier for us to find which prints belong to it

When is printed clothing tax deductible?

Work clothing with a company logo embroidered or printed can be tax deductible. The Tax Authorities have a number of conditions for this. For example, an image feature, such as a company logo, must (collectively) have a surface area of at least 70 cm² per garment. Read more about the Tax Authorities' conditions here .

How does it work if I want different name prints?

If you want different names per size/color, it is usually practical to email us after you have received your order confirmation. You can do this by replying to the order confirmation.

It is also possible to request a quote with specific questions.
