The Craft brand develops clothing for every layer: base layer, intermediate layer and top layer. Craft's jackets fall into the latter category. Craft jackets provide warmth, are ventilated and have enough room to move comfortably. Craft's wide range includes waterproof jackets, which you can use even in a heavy rain shower. Craft's windproof jackets keep the cold out during the storm. Many Craft jackets can be worn while running, cycling and skiing. Craft's 3-layer system

To be well protected against cold weather conditions, Craft recommends using the 3-layer system. Each layer has its own property. Each layer is explained and discussed separately below.

Base layer

The first layer, also called the base layer, transports moisture away from the skin and distributes it over the outside of the fabric, evaporates or is transferred to the next layer. For optimal performance and comfort, Craft base layer clothing should always be worn under your outer layer clothing, regardless of the weather. Middle layer

Craft's middle layer provides insulation and warmth, while transporting moisture and excess heat to the next layer or into the surrounding air. The layer usually consists offleece. When the temperature drops, this layer ensures that your important body heat is preserved without restricting your freedom of movement.

Protective layer

The third and final layer is also called the protective layer and consists of a Craft coat. This is the protection against the elements and ensures comfort and performance regardless of the conditions. Against the laws of logic, Craft Protection Layer protects against rain, wind and cold at the same time, while removing excess heat and moisture.
