Rain trousers

EN 343: work trousers for protection against the rain

The safety standard that applies to protection against the rain is EN 343. This can be recognized by an icon with an umbrella. According to this standard, rain trousers are tested for waterproofness and breathability with a rating from 1 to 3. For example, rain trousers in EN 343 class 3 are completely waterproof, class 1 for up to a few minutes. On the product pages we clearly indicate the waterproofness of our rain trousers. Do you only see two numbers after “EN 343”? Then the first number indicates how waterproof the rain pants are.
